I have tried to search in the mailing list for an updated answer about how ITK4 nightly handles pixel data when it writes out dicom files with gdcmIO, but couldn't.<br>

This is what I got from my experience.<br>
1. Pixel value doesn't get reversely rescaled using user specified "RescaleIntercept (0028|1052)" and "RescaleSlope (0028|1053)".
<br>
2. The output dicom always has those two values reset to be 0.0 and 1.0, no matter what values are set in metadatadictionary before writer.update()<br>

Did I get it right?<br>
