<font size="2"><font face="verdana,sans-serif">If you give extension .mha the header and raw data are in the same file. I never used the custom meta-data abilities of .mha and .nrrd formats so I cannot help you there.<br></font></font><br>

Thanks guys for your responses. a Raw file without header information is<br>

Bill, I used the code snippet you sent, it has two problems:<br>
1. It produces the header information in a separate file.<br>
2. It lacks some data that I'd like to see in the header file for my<br>
application.<br>
