<P><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I thought this might be of interest, as I've seen several postings on this list discussing open access in scientific publishing. This survey from the Study of Open Access Funding project, an EU funded program, came around and I though I would follow the instructions below:</FONT></P>

<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">To all researchers in STFC: </FONT>
<BR><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Your views on open access publishing are needed! </FONT>
<BR><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">STFC is working in partnership with the SOAP Project (*), funded by the European Commission, to investigate open access publishing models. The SOAP Project would like to invite all STFC research staff to take part in a major online survey to assess researchers' experiences with open access. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">This survey aims to inform the most comprehensive analysis of attitudes to open access publishing to date and is seeking views from a wide a range of interested parties. It is primarily aimed at active researchers in public and private organizations, from all fields of research in the sciences and humanities and focuses on publication of research articles in (open access) peer-reviewed journals. </FONT></P>
