Subject: Re: best way to implement Chan-Vese level sets

Hi Michel,

The best is to look at the test itkSingleLevelSetWhitakerImage2DWithCurvatureTest.cxx which is an implementation of Chan and Vese with a single level sets.

In this test, it uses:

  *   standard internal term
  *   standard external term
  *   curvature
  *   Whitaker's sparse representation

Best,
Arnaud

Dear ITK users,

I have given an assignment to my medical image analysis class on a Chan-Vese level sets implementation. I have noticed that in the ITKv4 repository, there seems to be a distinction between internal and external terms. Is there example code that integrates the whole Chan-Vese model, whereby they could investigate this level sets algorithm?

Thanks for your kind support.

Michel
