The *IIIOS* and *Nanoporation* projects would like to invite you for their
two one-week *Summer Schools*, each comprising a five-day series of
research symposia, with a registration structure designed to allow
students, researchers / faculty, and industrial colleagues to attend.

The first week, related to the Integrated Interventional Imaging Operating
System (IIIOS) project, will address the challenges of MRI guided
interventions through the different perspectives of technology involved,
procedure development and training needed.

The second week, related to ultrasound-mediated, MRI-guided targeted drug
delivery in the Nanoporation project, will embrace the multi-disciplinary
challenges associated with the application of focused ultrasound for
targeted drug delivery under MR-guidance.

Each day addresses a particular interfacial topic, according to the
schedule below, and will feature world-leading researchers from each field,
along with the opportunity for hands-on experience within the
state-of-the-art facilities at the Institute for Medical Science and
Technology (IMSaT), University of Dundee.

IIIOS Summer School: week from August 27th – 31st 2012:

   - Day 1 – Techniques for Optical Biopsy
   - Day 2 – Workflow for Image Guidance
   - Day 3 – MR-Guided Interventions
   - Day 4 – MR-Guided Vascular Interventions
   - Day 5 – Hands-On Deep Brain Stimulation

Nanoporation Summer School: week from September 3rd – 7th 2012:

   - Day 1 – Ultrasound for Focal Drug Delivery
   - Day 2 – Therapeutic Cavitation
   - Day 3 – Nano-Carriers
   - Day 4 – MRI Guided Focused Ultrasound
   - Day 5 – Hands-on MRgFUS

The symposia will take place in IMSaT, University of Dundee, hosting GE's
