[Insight-users] Equivalent of "2D Island Removal"

Is there an equivalent class in ITK to remove small "islands" of  
pixels in an image? VTK has something like "2D Island Removal" class  
or some such. Been looking through the docs and can not really find  
anything that matches what I am looking for.
