Jon

Good to hear from you and I really don't need a concrete answer at any
point. We will continue to develop and support IGSTK and if it is useful to
your group that is great.

We have not thought about plug-ins for IGSTK and I would like to ask Luis to
give us his opinion here. Luis was the chief architect of IGSTK and he put
great emphasis on safety and robustness. While plug-ins sound attractive and
I would certainly welcome the opportunity to work with your group on this, I
am forwarding this to Luis and the other developers so they can weigh in on
this issue.

Thanks all

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Again I must apologize for not being able to give you a concrete answer to
whether we will start using IGSTK for some of our image guided applications.
This is the vacation time in Norway and many are on holiday. Hope you
understand....

One thing I thought I should discuss with you is if you see any possibility
to combine our in house developed CustusX and parts/modules of IGSTK? Do you
have any plans for a sort of "plug in" feature in IGSTK? If yes, we can
introduce new features and/or common features into CustusX without changing
the GUI. Changing (or introducing a new GUI) for the surgeons are
challenging.

Regards

Jon
